Access to green and lush garden. Berry and mushroom forest is around the corner. Very quiet location. Proximity to the three lakes where swimming and trout fishing available. Nice trails for forest hiking. Dogs/pets are allowed. The house is a mix of new and old. The house's original features have been largely preserved and sensitively renovated to retain the house character. The fireplace and the open plan downstairs provides a sense of förmannabostad. Upstairs offers the "pink room" at one of southern Dalarna most amazing views of the vast Dalarna forests. Outside the entrance gives the large terrace facing south a parade-like impression, and this is plenty of space for relaxing sunny days and relaxing evenings in front of the nice cast iron grill. Immediate vicinity is also the garden and lawn where relaxation can be alternated with games. Villa Karelia is located on historic mining land and on the beautiful Blåberget in southern Dalarna. Here is Northern Europe's highest headframe of wood preserved that gives a sense of the old mining community. Middle of the woods but close to the village and with a magnificent view, Villa Karelia who served as The foremens housing when the mine was operated. Villa Karelia was shared by two families housed in separate bedroom apartments. The house was built in 1939 and was supposed to meet higher demands than the simple workmen who were the most common in the village.
