In the snow-secure Sörskog, there are beautiful cross-country ski trails with a wilderness feel. If there's a lack of snow in other places, this elevated area at about 400 meters north of Bjursås is guaranteed to have good snow.
Starting Point: Opposite the road from the parking lot.

Trail Description:
Even late in the season, the snow remains securely here. The elevation means the snow comes early and stays long. The prepared shorter trails are 1.5 km, 5 km, 7 km, and a sledding trail of 4.5 km. The two longer ones are 13 km and 18 km. The trails run through wonderful nature, offering varied skiing with a wilderness feel, even though it's not far from Falun, Leksand, and Rättvik. They wind over marshes, old fields, and through forest areas and suit all skiers.
Facilities
Adjacent to the parking in Sörskog, there is a warming hut (no pets allowed in the hut due to allergies), a cabin with a toilet, shower and changing rooms, and a waxing shed with stands. These are freely available to all skiers.
