Section Stage 5 Malingsbo - Söderbärke Length: 25 km Starting Point: Malingsbo Church Ending Point: Söderbärke Church Difficulty Level: Blue, medium Trail Marking: Parts of the trail are under development and partially marked with poles and partially flagged with orange fabric strips. Terrain: Forest roads and paths through woodland and fields. Duration: 8 hours 20 minutes Trail Description: The fifth stage of the Romboleden trail starts at Malingsbo Church and initially follows the Bruksleden trail over Trollberget. The Romboleden then turns northward toward Norra Bisen. In Norra Bisen, you can choose to hike along the gravel road past St. Baggmossen or take the slightly longer route over Klunkohäll, offering a fine view of the landscape. The route over Klunkohäll can at times be difficult to navigate.
The hike continues and you pass signs toward Oppsveten, where you turn right toward Tolvsbo. The stage concludes at Söderbärke Church in the center of Söderbärke. The trail has hilly sections, particularly from Malingsbosjön heading north over Trollberget. Facilities: Toilets and drinking water are available at Söderbärke Church.
A restroom with a sink and drinking water is available in the parish house. Entry is from the back side facing the lake Norra Barken. Parking: Parking is available at the churches. Transportation: The nearest bus stop for the stage start is Malingsbro, a 1-minute walk from the church.
