In the 19th century, farmers with few livestock lived in Våmhus. To increase their income, many in the village began working with handicrafts. The men made chip baskets, and the women created jewelry from human hair. At Myrans Hemslöjd, this tradition continues, with owner Joanna often working on her hair crafts in the shop.
