Limsjön nature area and bird lake 7 km

Lake Limsjön is one of the county's most bird-rich wetlands and is close to the centre of Leksand. A gravel hiking trail goes around the lake where bird life can be experienced from the bird towers and a hide. The trail is also partly adapted for prams and wheelchairs.

Start and end location: The trail starts at the parking lot at Norsbro or at Circle K in Leksand when you go over the R70 and onto the trail. Length: 7 km. Trail marking: Time: About 2 hours. Severity: Green. Description: Feel free to turn left onto the trail and walk clockwise. In wet weather, you may have to walk on laid footbridges, which means that the trail is then not passable for prams and wheelchairs and a shorter section has coarse gravel.
