Långshyttans Moose Park is a family-friendly park where everyone can pet and feed the moose. The park's owner, Daniel Svensson, is happy to guide and share information about these wonderful animals and their characteristics.
The Moose Park is located just outside Långshyttan and offers both adults and children the opportunity to get really close to the king of the forest, Elvis, his wife Frida, and their calves. Currently, there are 6 adult moose as well as their calves in the park. The park is open during the summer season and features barbecue facilities, a bathing area by the lake, a souvenir shop, and a café. It is wheelchair accessible.
Långshyttan is a beautiful community with plenty of water and meadows. The park also includes forests and meadowland with access to a bathing area for visitors. There is a barbecue area by the lake. A café and conference facilities are available, as well as light dining options. Please note that dogs are not allowed near the moose, but they may be walked in the area outside.
