FISHING LICENSES AND PRICES
One day card – 50 SEK
One year card for sport fishing – 300 SEK, valid one calendar year
One year card for locals (ortskort) – 300 SEK, valid one calendar year
Age restrictions – Children under the age of 18 fish for free in the company of an adult who has purchased a fishing license. This rue also applies to the wife/husband or person you live together with.

RULES AND REGULATIONS
You can fish for pike, char, perch and trout. It is allowed to catch a maximum of 3 game fish per day. If you catch more, you have to release it back in the lake, it doesn’t matter if it’s dead or alive. Trout under 50 cm has to be released back in the lake, it doesn’t matter if it’s dead or alive.
Please note that all fishing on the inside of the fence by inlet to Ludvika power station is forbidden. Cray fishing is done according to specific rules. Fishing rules is available for download further down the page.
Day care and schools are allowed to fish for free as an outdoor activity. Otherwise the fishing license is personal and you cannot pass it to another person.
The one day card and one year card for sport fishing is valid for fishing with hand tools only, under the winter it’s also valid for angling.
