Gimmen is a 28 meter deep clear lake where you can fish for perch, treat, pike, whitefish and dace. In Lissjön you can fly-fish for trout, but only from float tube since “catch and release” applies.

Everyone who fishes in Gimmen is obliged to follow the current fishing rules and to bring, and upon request to show, a valid fishing license & ID document when fishing. Illegal fishing (fishing without a fishing license) will be reported to the police.
Fishing supervision is carried out by the following persons appointed by the County Administrative Board:
Jan-Olov Hedberg, Lars Jonsson, Kjell Larsson, Magnus Holm, Dan Hallin, Mikael Karlsson, Gösta Grånäs and Anders Hedlund.
When supervising, the fishing supervisor always wears a service badge and brings an appointment that can be shown if requested.
Within the area there is Svarttjärn with continuous implantation of noble fish summer and winter.
