Bispbergs Klack

The granite mountain rises 315 meters above seas level, steeply above the surrounding agricultural landscape. The ridge is on the southwestern side of the mountain.

In good weather conditions you have an amazing view over the nearby towers and churches. You might be able to make out the ski jump at Lugnet in Falun, Kupolen in Borlänge and the headframes in Garpenberg on the horizon.

The inaccessible mountain slopes are important breeding grounds for the eagle owl and others.

From the roundabout just southeast of Säter, turn towards Bispberg. After 2 kilometers you will see signs to Bispbergs klacks nature reserve. Turn right and follow the signs for about 1.5 kilometers. The nature reserve's parking is located just to the right of the road.
